Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actress for more than 10 years. Her roles are in The Shield as well as True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance as an actor in the year 2003. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played the role of Anna, as seen as part of Assault on Precinct 13 Her first recognition came from her part in the biographical movie All the Way. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The series has been renewed for its third series from 20th Century Fox Television. Recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for release by mid-2019. Her dad Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017 and the mom Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya is her elder brother and an engineer in the merchant navy. Bachchan's older brother Aditya Rai coproduced and cowrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai and she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. She finished her secondary education in Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she received a 90% on the H.S.C. exams. As a teenager, she spent five years learning classical music and dancing. She was a lover of the study of zoology. Bachchan studied Architecture when she was crowned Miss World. The title helped her rise to the forefront of modeling. She was offered attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Her New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films are a departure from traditional Bollywood structure. Bachchan was cemented as the Queen of New Bollywood following her performance in Devdas 2002, one of the most well-known Bollywood films. It also was the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. After that her performance, she received praise for her role in Chokher Bal (2003), an intense drama based off Rabindranathtagore's novel. That same year, she was the first Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That was when Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power and attractiveness to her first major film in English. She came back to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star and son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent personalities together.
